Someone Agrees with Me
This morning I was reading Wordtracker newsletter, one of the keyword research tools I use. After a quick scan, I noticed an interview with Seth Godin, a reknowned Internet marketer.
So I gave it a look.
In the interview he offers some interesting insights into:
- Creating an “Unfolding Dialogue”
- Creativity and Perfectionism
- The Future of Newspapers
That’s interesting, but one statement that caught my attention was:
“My position is that the clients are the problem, not the consultants. That’s because they want shortcuts, not hard work. The best SEO is great content. Don’t do that and you don’t get much.”
Though a bit frank, I can relate.
It seems everytime I discuss SEO with someone, techie and non-techie alike, I spend more time trying to convince them to work the system, and less time trying to buck it.
If you’re still looking for SEO shortcuts… stop it! ![]()
Oh… and Happy Valentine’s Day!
