What Did You Think?

After all the preparation, practicing, revising, and practicing again … our Corporate Blogging Geek Camp has come and gone. Personally, I think it went pretty well.

The audience had valuable questions and was very interactive. They made our job easy. So if you were a part of it - thank you!

Now that the presentation is over, I’m dying to know your thoughts! Don’t worry … you don’t have to spare our feelings. If you think there were areas for improvement, TELL US! We have thick skins … we’re marketers! ;-)

Not sure what to say? Here are a few questions to get you started:

  • What did you think of the overall presentation?
    Was it interesting? Relevant?
  • How did you feel about the presenters?
How was their timing? Were they too wordy?
  • Did you learn anything new and useful?
If so, what and how are you going to apply what you learned?

I look forward to your comments and thank you for attending our Corporate Blogging Geek Camp. I hope that you found it useful and look forward to seeing you again January 17 for our camp on pay-per-click advertising.

It’s over and this was a great return on a ticket that cost me nothing! I’m talking about your Geek Camp aimed at utilizing blogs for business. But frankly it did cost me something… See, I’m convinced my time is worth a lot (and I’ve got the pay stubs from my business to prove it!). It was totally useful dedicating that time to your engaging and accessible presentation. I’m flattered to be invited. Thanks…

You did a really nice job of presenting this topic. When I walked in, I didn’t expect it to be anything I would do at my job. I walked out being able to see the application even if I still don’t think it would be a fit for my particular employer.

I renovated part of my home recently and used many personal home improvement blogs to find fixtures for an old home and solve problems unique to an 80 year old house. It worked much as you said it would - the comments of other users are very valuable.

I began blogging a couple weeks ago and came with a few key questions that you answered (like you knew what I was thinking - scary). Keep up the good work. It’s great to know I have such a qualified resource so close by.

As always, very helpful information delivered in an engaging format. I was geared up after the event and tested the free tools you shared. Sure enough, Word Press is super easy to use. I setup a site and published a Blog (about Blogging) in less 10 minutes, which is truly amazing considering I’m not a technically oriented person. Check it out! http://cargastwosense.wordpress.com

Thanks again for another great event offering practical tips that I could actually use!

    Awesome Julie!

It makes me smile knowing that our camp helped inspire you to start your own blog. Your first blog post shows you were definitely paying attention. ;-)
And you’re right! Blogging is easy!

You’re in my RSS reader. I look forward to your future posts.

Brian another great meeting…two for two. I enjoyed the banter and timing of your associate’s presentation with you. It created a more relaxed environment. I guess blogging is the way things are heading. Being one of your more experienced (I think this is nicer than saying older…it is less painful) campers, I still prefer using the phone. I enjoy talking with people directly…to hear their voice, hear the inflection and get immediate feed back. This is getting harder and harder to do with all the electronic gatekeepers that have been employed. This dog can learn new tricks so I will ease into blogging. Thanks for your help. See you in the new year at the next meeting.
